The Edinburgh Academy continues to support the NHS
EA Community
The Edinburgh Academy continues to support the NHS and local charities, but it’s not just staff who are contributing. EA pupil Finlay (2nds) has been producing PPE ear savers on his 3D printer for NHS Lothian (St John’s Hospital, Livingston).
The Design Technology team made another 120 face shields today – 80 for St Columba’s Hospice, 20 for Claremont Park Nursing Home and 20 for LinkLiving. They have made 450 so far but still have a lot of work ahead of them.
We are part of a growing movement and it is reassuring to know that other school DT departments are doing their part to help fight COVID-19.
