Pipe Band Dinner
The 2019 Edinburgh Academy Pipe Band Fundraising Dinner was held at the Balmoral Hotel in the Balmoral Suite, a stunning room overlooking Edinburgh Castle.
It was an amazing black tie event with a lovely atmosphere and the 120 guests were treated to an exception meal and a medley of fine performances from the EA Pipes and Drums, the band was made up of pupils from 6ths and 7ths. A particular highlight of the evening being the entertaining drum fanfare.
The evening was made all the more special by the generosity of those who attended in supporting the raffle and auction, raising funds to ensure our iconic Pipe Band continues to be one of the smartest school pipe bands in Scotland.
Particular thanks to the pupils who performed, Pipe Major Grey and the parent run fundraising committee.
