Head Ephor

I am one of the Head Ephors this year, and my main goal is to ensure that every pupil’s ideas are encouraged and have the opportunity to become reality. I want to offer as much support as each individual at The Edinburgh Academy needs, whenever and however they need it. I also hope to be a friendly, approachable face that anyone can come to—whether they want advice, help, or simply someone to listen. By the time I leave this school and my role as Head Girl, I hope to have helped make EA an even healthier, happier environment for everyone.

I first joined The Edinburgh Academy in 2012, when I was just four years old in Nursery. Having been here from start to finish, I can truly say I’ve loved every single moment.

My favourite subjects are Biology and Chemistry. I’ve always been fascinated by how the human body works, and I find it amazing to learn in detail how our different systems function. Chemistry is equally exciting—understanding the science behind everyday materials never fails to capture my interest.

In the future, I hope to study Medicine at university and become a doctor. Helping others has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve wanted to pursue a career in service from a very young age.

What makes The Edinburgh Academy so special to me is its strong sense of community—the feeling that we’re all part of one big family. From my very first day, I’ve always known there’s someone I can rely on. To anyone joining the Senior School, my advice would be to stay confident and open-minded. It’s a big step, but you’ll make new friends, create lasting memories, and discover new passions along the way. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask an Ephor — that’s what we’re here for.
